Marion C. Bodiker

BODIKER, Marion C., age 93, of Centerville, passed away Monday, April 25, 2011. Marion was a homemaker and a 1937 graduate of Trotwood Madison High School. When her children were young, she was a Girl Scout leader and a Sunday school superintendent. Marion was a member of David's United Church of Christ, a 23 yr. volunteer at Children's Medical Center, an active member of Twigs #21 and High Priestess of Bara Court #15 Ladies Oriental Shrine. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother who loved her family dearly. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew her. Preceded in death by her husband Raymond E. Bodiker and her best friend Butch, her dog. Marion is survived by her sister Florence Weaver; children Kaaren (Paul) Dunlap, Trudy (Gary) Alexander, James (Joyce) Bodiker; grandchildren Wes Mangold, Kent Mangold, Christy (John) Kaloukian, Carrie Hoff, Ryan (Kori) King, Jennifer (Ryan) Carraway, Chad (Sarah) Bodiker, Melissa Moss; 5 step-grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and 7 step-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at David's United Church of Christ, 170 W. David Rd., Kettering, OH. The family will greet friends from 11:00AM-1:00PM prior to the service at the Church. Burial will be in Willow View Cemetery in Dayton.
