Marion L. Tarazano

Marion Lucille (Lawrence) Tarazano, 72, of Centerville, Ohio, passed on September 14th, at Hospice of Dayton after a brief illness. At her side was her husband of 49 years, Donald Tarazano. Marion was born April 5th, 1936 in New Brighton, Pennsylvania. She was one of nine children of Leroy and Edith Lawrence. Marion graduated from Rochester Senior High School, Rochester, PA. and attended Morris Business School, Beaver Falls, Pa. She was a devoted homemaker, wonderful cook and gardener and totally devoted to her husband, children, grandchildren and remaining brother and sisters. In following her husband's career, she lived in Huntsville, Alabama, Bermuda, Rome, NY , Washington, D.C. and settled in Centerville after her husband retired from the Air Force Research Laboratory at Wright Patterson. She is survived by her husband, Donald O.Tarazano , son Donald Lawrence (Larry) Tarazano and partner Edmund Bedsworth of Alexandria, VA, and daughter Leslie Tarazano and son-in-law David T. Oven of Dalton, PA. and two grandchildren Harrison and Graham Oven. Also surviving are three sisters and three bothers and their spouses as follows: Edna Cook of Beaver Falls, PA; Nancy and Edward Kress of Oriental, NC; Jeri and Charles Grant of OhioView, PA; Robert and Jean Lawrence of Negly, OH; Lee and Cleo Lawrence of Ash, NC and Ron and Barbara Lawrence of West Bridgewater, PA. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Fletcher (Bus) Lawrence and Jack Lawrence. Memorial services will be held at Routsong' s Funeral home on Main Street, Centerville on Friday, September 19th at 5:30 PM. A second memorial service will be held at the First United Presbyterian Church, 408 Bridge St, West Bridgewater, PA on Tuesday, September 23rd at 6:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton @ 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420. Condolences may be sent to the family at inmemoryofmarion@gmail.com.
