Marjorie Lou Downie

DOWNIE, Marjorie age 92, a resident of Bethany Village Centerville passed away on Monday, January 21, 2008 at Bethany Village. Marjorie was an active member of the First Lutheran Church and a member of Harvest Chapter Order of Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Ona Berner and loving husband, Thomas W. Downie. Marjorie is survived by her son, Thomas C. (Patty) Downie of Kettering; grandchildren, Christopher (Sherrie) Downie of CA and Michael K. Parks of Kettering; great-grandchildren, Justin, Madison and Kegan; sister, Joan Brown of Kettering; special friend, Helen Muessig of Dayton and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday , January 28, 2008 at 10 A.M. at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering with Rev. Richard Gilbertson officiating. Burial at Davids Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 2-4 P.M. on Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 3229 Burnet Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45229 or to the First Lutheran Church, 138 W. First St., Dayton, OH 45402.
