Marshall R. Wright

WRIGHT, Marshall R., age 85, of Dayton, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2011. Marshall was a 1944 graduate of Stivers High School, received a degree in Business from Miami Jacobs Business College and attended the University of Dayton. He served 2 yrs. In the U. S. Navy during WWII in the South Pacific Area and spent his career at NCR Corp. where he retired after 42 ½ yrs. of loyal service as a Manager, Quality Assurance and Administration, Customer Service Division. Marshall was a member of South Park Methodist Church and a former member of Oak Street United Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents Joseph J. and Della Balser Wright; and brothers Joseph, Donald and Warren Wright. Marshall is survived by his loving wife of 65 yrs., L. Maxine (Poling) Wright; daughters Susan (Dr. Maitland W.) Place and Kathy (Paul) Albright; grandchildren Ryan Place and Katey Albright; and sister-in-law Louise Wright. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at South Park United Methodist Church, 140 Stonemill Road, Dayton. Family will greet friends following the service.
