age 93 of Dayton, passed away Friday, Nov. 10 in Dayton. Mrs. Chestnut was born September 3, 1907 in Miami County, Ohio. She was a proud member of the North Dayton Baptist Church and of the Bookbinders Union #199 with 25 years of service before retiring in 1970 from McCall Corp. Preceded in death by her husband, William E. Chestnut; a son, William R. Chestnut; her parents, George P. and Anna E. Miller; and 7 sisters and 3 brothers. Survived by 2 daughters and son-sin-law, Patricia and Alex LeDonne of Dayton and Mary and Jim Mix of Effingham, IL; 3 sons and daughters-in-law, John and Judy Chestnut of West Carrollton, George and Bonnie Chestnut of Springfield, and Dennis and Wanda Chestnut of Dayton with whom she made her home; 12 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews and precious friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday in the North Dayton Baptist Church, 515 Lillian Ave., Dayton. Mrs. Chestnut's grandson, the Rev. William R. Chestnut, Jr., pastor of the North Dayton Baptist Church will be officiating. Mrs. Chestnut's 8 other grandsons will be serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 5-8:00 P.M., Monday in the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Chestnut requested donations be made to the North Dayton Baptist Church Missions Fund, 515 Lillian Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45404.
