Martha Louise Huffman

age 76 of Oakwood, passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2001, at Lincoln Park Manor. Martha attended Oakwood High School, Miami University, and graduated from Ohio State University with a degree in Occupational Therapy. She was a member of the Tri Delta Sorority, Bible Study Club of Dayton, and St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Preceded in death by husband, John M. Huffman, Jr., in 1990; her parents, Minnie (Reese) and W. Louis Wallingford; and a brother, Norman. Survived by her a son, John Huffman III and his wife, Lee Ann of Dayton; a daughter, Laura Huffman and her partner, Pat Carter of Syracuse, NY; and 4 grandchildren, Natasha, Anne, Alexandra, and Christine. In accordance with Martha's wishes, there will be no funeral services. However, the family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, in the Routsong Funeral Home, 6 Oakwood Ave. at Irving, Oakwood. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Wright Memorial Public Library, 1776 Far Hills Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45419. The family would like to extend its appreciation to the staff of Lincoln Park Manor, Dr. Louis Heckman, Dr. Mark Romer, Home Health Aids, and hospice of Dayton for their care, compassion, and support.
