Mary A. Schroeder

SCHROEDER, Mary A., age 87, of Centerville passed away Saturday, November 28, 2009 at Oak Creek Terrace. She was born August 13, 1922 in Xenia, the daughter of Crampton Lott and Christel Haines Lott. Mary worked as a Nurse for the Kettering Hospital. She was inspired in Nursing by A. V. Black, M.D. She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, William; her granddaughter, Tina Schroeder; and several brothers and sisters. Mary is survived by her sons, Lawrence J. (Jerri) Schroeder of Brookville, Thomas Edward (Jerida) Schroeder of Nightingale Place, David Russell Riley of La Masa, CA, John Michael (Ann) Schroeder of Downers Grove, IL; daughter, Mary Ann Schroeder, of Dayton; daughter-in-law, Lucy Schroeder of Dayton and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, December 4, 2009 at The Centerville United Methodist Church, 63 East Franklin Street, Centerville, Ohio 45459. A Graveside service will be at Miami Valley Memory Gardens. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Centerville United Methodist Church.
