Mary Ann Rodriquez

RODRIQUEZ, Mary Ann, age 85 of Kettering, passed on Tuesday, January 7, 2014. Mary Ann was born in Anniston, Alabama to the late Joseph and Mabel (Smith) Dannaher. She graduated from St. Mary's School, Julienne High School, and attended the University of Dayton. Mary Ann was a loving homemaker and very active in her community. She worked with the Carroll High School Band (Carrolleers) from 1978 to 1985, enjoyed line dancing at the Kettering Rec Center, and was a talented porcelain doll maker and crafter. She was part owner of Lil Mo Creations. Preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Joseph, Jack, Thomas and James Dannaher; and sister, Margaret Dodson. Mary Ann is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Raymond L. Rodriquez; daughters, Mary Margaret "Peggy" Matley (Bernard) of Beavercreek, OH and Mary Kathleen "Kathy" Reynolds (Norbert) of Lawrenceburg, IN; grandchildren, Maureen (nee Matley) Cooper (Clifton) and Ryan Matley (Sara); great-granchildren, Caedon Cooper and Adalynn Matley; many other family and friends, as well as her special friends at Dorothy Lane Bob Evans. Family will greet friends on Sunday, January 12, 2014 from 2:00-5:00pm at ROUTSONG FUNERAL HOME, 2100 E. Stroop Rd, Kettering. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, January 13 at 10:30am at Ascension Catholic Church, 2025 Woodman Dr, Dayton, OH. Burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery.
