Mary D. Spurlock

SPURLOCK, Mary D., age 86, of Kettering passed away December 16, 2007. Mary was a member of the Church of the Cross, United Methodist Church of Kettering. She is survived by her husband, Loyd; son, Ronald Spurlock of Dayton; daughter, Deborah (Jack) Lurty of Chillicothe, OH; granddaughters, Jennifer (Mark) Braby of Atlanta, GA; Heather Tateman of Milwaukee, WI; and great grandson, Devin Tateman of Milwaukee. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Amon and Effie Manier. She was a member of the Dayton Victory Chapter O.E.S. and the Womens Elissa Guild of the Antioch Shrine. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 20, 2007 at 12:00 noon at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering with Pastor John C. Whitaker officiating. Burial in Miami Valley Memory Gardens. Family will receive friends from 10-12:00 noon, followed by an Eastern Star Service prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children-Burns, 3229 Burnet Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45229-3095. Condolences may be sent via the website at www.routsong.com.
