Mary E. Mundkenk

MUNDHENK, Mary Evelyn (Mowry), age 88, of Grand Court Retirement Home, Beavercreek, went to be with her Lord Tuesday, April 1, 2003. Born May 29, 1914, the daughter of Otis & Florence (Osborn) Mowry. Mary was a graduate of Fairview High School and Dayton School of Practical Nursing. She was a former member of the Eastern Star, The Ohio Assn. of Garden Clubs and Florida Council of Garden Clubs. Mary was also known for organizing a gospel choir at Grand Court Retirement Home. Mary and Ralph originally of Dayton, spent many years at Kiser Lake, Lake Placid and Venice, FL. Preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Ralph H. Mundhenk; parents, Otis and Florence Mowry; 2 brothers, Hugh and John Mowry; and stepfather, J. Asa Morgan. Survived by her daughter, Nancy and husband, Jim Denlinger of Kettering; son, Ralph and wife, Linda Mundhenk of Springfield; 7 grandchildren, Vicki (Keith) Ferguson, Sue (David) Brink, Pat (Larry) Snyder, Carla Wilcox, David Mundhenk, Cheryl Mundhenk and Kevin (Pam) Mundhenk. 10 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM, Tuesday, Apr. 15, 2003 at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering with Pastor Larry Tyner officiating. The family will greet friends in the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Burial in Forest Hill Cemetery, Piqua, OH.
