Mary Elaine Sylvester

SYLVESTER, Mary Elaine, age 53, of Centerville, passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2017. Mary was born on April 29, 1964 in Riverside, CA to Richard and Helen Sylvester. She graduated from Beavercreek High School in 1981 and earned her degree in Communications from the University of New Hampshire. Mary worked at Drug Mart and had her own business in home organizing. She was a member of Church of the Incarnation and enjoyed hiking and attending concerts. Mary was preceded in death by her father, Dr. Richard Sylvester; and her brother, Thomas G. Sylvester. She is survived by her mother, Helen Sylvester; siblings, Dr. Richard A. Sylvester, John D. Sylvester, and Ann (Russell) Chelf; 5 nieces and nephews; 9 great-nieces and nephews; and aunt, Beverly Sylvester. The family will greet friends from 5:00-7:00pm on Friday, November 24, 2017 at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Church of the Incarnation, 7451 Far Hills Ave., Centerville. Burial will take place in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon, OH.
