Mary Ellen Crawford

Crawford, Mary Ellen (nee Moorman), of Dayton and formerly of Venice, Florida, died Wednesday, January 1, 2003. With her husband, she operated the Crawford Shoe Store of Dayton until retiring to Florida. Survived by her husband of 55 years, William; son, William Jr. and his wife, Janet of Richmond, VA; 2 daughters, Ann Hager and her husband, Robert of Dodge City, KS; Ellen Walters and her husband, Steve of Oakwood; 3 sisters, Patricia Moorman of Dayton; Jean Ann Downey and her husband, Bernard of Oak Brook, IL; Nancy Waldman and her husband, Leonard of Glenview, IL; 5 grandchildren, Bryan King and Kelly Radock and Andrew, Kathleen, and Laura Walters; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, January, 4, 2003 at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 218 K Street at Brown St. If desired, friends may make contributions to the American Lung Association, 1740 Broadway, New York, NY, 10019.
