Mary Gelep Hutchison

HUTCHISON, Mary G., age 77, of Kettering, passed away Thursday, January 15, 2004 at Hospice of Dayton. Mary was born February 5, 1926 in Leominster, MA. Her family moved to Dayton, OH in 1943. After graduating from Oakwood High School, she attended Miami Jacobs Business College and Antioch University. Mary was a member of the Short Hills Garden Club, the Dayton Women’s Club, and enjoyed teaching Sunday school at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, Dayton, OH. Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Constantine G. and Efimia A. Gelep. She is survived by her loving husband and best friend of forty-nine years, William J. Hutchison; 2 sons, William G. and George J. Hutchison; daughter and son-in-law, Lynne B. and Scott W. Wolford; two grandchildren, Garrett M. Hutchison and Katherine A. Wolford; sister and brother-in-law, Irene (Nikki) and Frank C. Zonars; and numerous nieces and nephews. A devoted wife and mother, her family and friends will miss her. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:00 AM at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, Dayton with Father Mark Emroll officiating. Burial in Woodland Cemetery. Family will receive friends Sunday from 5 to 7:30 PM with Trisagion Prayers at 5:00 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering.
