Mary Jo Ulery

ULERY, Mary Jo, age 84, of Kettering passed away Sunday, December 20, 2015 at Hospice of Dayton. Preceded in death by her parents Fred and Edna Williams; husband Frank; and sister Louise Bricker. Mary Jo is survived by her daughter Di Murphy and husband Dave, son David and wife Jennifer, son Darrin, grandson David Murphy and wife Renee, granddaughter Sarah Hayson and husband David, granddaughter Leah Murphy, three great granddaughters, and nephews Steve and Doug Bricker. Mary Jo graduated from Mt. Vernon High School in 1949 where she met her husband. Mary Jo and Frank were married fifty-five years until his passing in 2009. She was a devoted mother, wife and homemaker. She enjoyed the comfort found in reading a book or cross stitching and amassed over 8000 hours of volunteering at Kettering Memorial Hospital. Gifted at decorating the home and wrapping presents, Mary Jo loved making all things beautiful for her family. She is dearly loved by friends and family and will be deeply missed. A private service for the family will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton. OH 45420.
