HOWE, Mary K. age 83 of Kettering passed away on Friday, September 14, 2012.
Mary was active member of the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church since its founding. She was a graduate of Fugazzi Business School in Lexington, KY and she retired as a secretary from the Kettering Police Department after 25 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Howe. She is survived by her sons, James F. (Kim) Howe, William C. (Pat) Howe and John K. (Loretta) Howe; daughter, Deborah (Charles) Stephens; sisters, Ellen Jacobs and Betty Wolford; 14 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; special friend, Jill Harris.
Family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00pm on Monday, September 17, 2012 at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main Street, Centerville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4500 Ackerman Blvd., Kettering at 10:30am. Father Timothy Ralston officiating. Graveside service and burial at St. Edwards Catholic Cemetery in Cynthiana, KY after the Mass.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Bridge Riding for the Disabled, 743 West Pekin Rd., Lebanon, OH 45036 or at www.bridgeriding.org.
