Mary (M.A.) Alice Mcconnaughey

age 76 of Oakwood, passed away on Sunday, September 24 at Hospice of Dayton. A native of Fairmont, West Virginia and a long time Oakwood resident, M.A. was a very active member of her community and was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church and the Moraine Country Club. Preceded in death by her husbands, William Albert Gonsior and James Parker McConnaughey. Survived by her three children, Wendy O'Meara and her husband Peter of McLean, VA, Lee Gonsior and his wife Judy of Centerville and David Gonsior and his wife Lynn; a stepson, Fred McConnaughey and his wife, Holly of Kettering; a sister, Elinor Garriques of Manitou Springs, CO; beloved grandchildren, Lisa Gonsior Laukitis, John Gonsior, Tyler O'Meara, Sean O'Meara, Kelly O'Meara, Claire and Hilary McConnaughey. M.A. leaves behind many cherished and dear friends. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 33 W. Dixon Ave., Oakwood.
