GREDING, Mary Marguerite of Texas, formerly of Dayton passed away, Wednesday, November 20, 2002. She was active with the Dayton Area Board of Realtors since 1950 and became a Realtor (Jones Realty Company) in 1955. Marguerite was member, trustee, and alternate trustee of the Ohio Association of Real Estate Boards from (1959-1967), and served on the Ethics Committee in 1959. She was the first woman Director of the Dayton Area Board of Realtors in its history, serving a three year term from 1968-1970. Marguerite was also the first woman appraiser in the 1970's and 80's in Montgomery County, Greene County, and State of Ohio and became an FHA Direct Endorsement Appraiser. Her many other accomplishments included; serving as treasurer in 1957, Vice President in 1966, President in 1967 of the Dayton Chapter Women's Council, also Historian in 1968, and Governor at Large in 1969 for the Ohio State Chapter; Secretary for the Dayton Trader's Club from (1961-1965), member of the Dayton Chamber of Commerce from (1996-1997) and listed in Who's Who in American Women, (1972-1973) and in 2000 listed in Women of Achievement in 1972. Marguerite was also quite an artist of oil paintings, winning many ribbons. In 1985, after the death of her husband of almost 50 years, (Carl Jones), Marguerite moved to Texas near her daughter, son-in-law and grandsons. Preceded in death by her parents, Jesse C. and Lena B. (Hudelson) Runyan; husband, Carl Jones, and sister, Pearl Runyan VanBuskirk on November 9, 2002. Survived by her husband, Robert E. Greding of Arlington, TX; daughter and son-on-law, Mary Louise and her husband, Donald Edward Bisch of Arlington, TX; 2 grandsons, Michael Lee Bisch of Arlington, TX and Burr Jeffrey Bisch of Willow Park, TX and 2 sisters, Mrs. Thelma Johnson of Plainfield, IN and Mrs. Viola Keller, of Riverside, CA. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, November 29, 2002 at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville. Burial in David's Cemetery.
