Mary Ruth Houser

HOUSER, Mary Ruth, age 92, lifelong resident of the Miami Valley, passed away Monday, November 19, 2012. Mary was a 1939 graduate of Winchester High school and worked for NCR, Building 26 during WWII. She loved to travel, always had the radio on, and loved to dance a Jigg. Mary enjoyed brainteasers and cooking and cleaning. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Albert Weber Houser (1990), and parents, Patrick and Frances; two sisters and one brother. Mary is survived by her 6 children, Ronald R. Houser of West Carrollton, Donald L. Houser of Miami Twp., George A. (Cassandra) Houser of Kettering, David A. Houser of Moraine, Clarence T. (Vickie) Houser of Washington Township, and Mary E. Houser of Waynesville; 2 grandchildren, C. True Houser III and Mary K. (Justin) Page; and 4 great-grandchildren. The family will greet friends from 9:00am until 11:00am on Friday, November 23 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. A funeral service will follow. Burial in Zion Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grace Hospice, 3033 Kettering Blvd., Moraine, OH 45439.
