Mary A. Weimer

Kettering

Mary A. Weimer of Kettering, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly at her home on July 25, 2024. Born April 17, 1952, she was the daughter of Jacob and Clara Cavanaugh Weimer.

Mary attended Holy Angels and St. Charles Borromeo grade school and Archbishop Alter High School. After graduation she completed studies at Sawyer College of Business then worked at Winters Bank in Dayton. Later, Mary returned to school accomplishing an Associate Degree in Kindergarten/preschool education at Sinclair College. She then became employed at Wenzler’s Daycare in Kettering where she worked for many years until her retirement.

Mary enjoyed reading, drawing, and a good discussion on current events. She was a devoted and faithful member of St. Charles Borromeo Parish in Kettering.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents Jacob Weimer and Clara Cavanaugh Weimer, and brothers, Peter Weimer and Thomas Weimer. Surviving are brothers, Robert (Gay) Weimer, Joseph (Suzanne) Weimer, sister, Katherine (Wiilliam) Nahhas, sister-in-law, Janet Weimer, nephews and nieces, and grand nephews and nieces.

A visitation will be held Friday, August 9 from 10:00am-11:00am at St. Charles Borromeo, 4500 Ackerman Blvd., Kettering, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am. Burial services will be private.
