Maryann R. Allen

ALLEN, Maryann R., age 59, of Kettering, passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2013. Maryann was born on September 19, 1954 in Dayton, OH to Chester and the late Virginia "Ann" Rogers. She graduated from Wright State University and worked for Mead Digital Systems then BDM Federal for several years. Maryann helped organize WOW Rides which are bike rides for those with handicaps. She will be missed by all who knew her. Maryann is preceded in death by her mother and brother, Paul Rogers. She is survived by her loving husband of 16 years, Kenneth; father; step-children, Kristine Allen, Kenneth C. (Ashley) Dell, Beth E. (David) Allen, Carla (Lane) Oatman, and Cathy (Matt) Walters; brother, James (Nina) Rogers; 5 step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at Vitas Hospice, Comfort Keepers, and Gem City Home Care and to all their family and friends for their care and compassion. A memorial service will be held at 12:00noon on Saturday, January 11, 2013 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 East Stroop Road, Kettering. Family will greet friends following the service.
