LEEN, Maxine, 89, of Centerville passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2008, at Bethany Village. Maxine trained in nursing at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton, but her greatest joy was taking care of her family and home. Maxine was an active member on the Belmont Community Counsel, the PTO at the Church of Immaculate Conception and was an avid bridge player. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Thomas Leen in 1993. Maxine is survived by her son, Thomas (Judy) Leen; daughters, Mary (Dave) Young, and Judy (Larry) Whitehead; grandsons, Brian (Jennifer) Leen of Centerville, and Randy (Jennifer) Leen of Palm Beach Garden, FL; granddaughters, Beth (Todd) Whitehead of West Chester, OH, Julie (Kevin) Buchanan of Springboro, Alissa (Brian) Gantt of Washington Township, and Molly (Jason) Holt of Brookville; brother-in-law Jack (Jean) Leen of Madison, WI; Ralph Leen of California; sister-in-law Dee Klosterman of Springfield and 13 great-grandchildren that she dearly loved. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday at 1:00PM at the Church of the Incarnation, 7415 Far Hills Ave., Centerville, OH 45459. Maxine's family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the Mass. Burial will be at David's Cemetery.
