EMRICK, Maxine, peacefully joined her husband, Paul and little dog Molly, in heaven on April 24, 2015. Maxine was born February 9, 1926, a native of Moodyville, Tennessee, but made her home in Beavercreek, Ohio.
Maxine is preceded in death by parents, Herbert and Ellen Gillentine; husband, Paul William Emrick Sr.; siblings and spouses, Charles Gillentine, Mary Jane (Lloyd) Ratliff, Ruby (Clyde) Gunter, infant sister Nina, and son-in-law Ken McCoy. She is lovingly survived by daughter, Pamela McCoy of Huber Heights; son, Bill Emrick of Dayton and special daughter, Bobby (Phil) Berry. Maxine will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Missy (David) Adkins and Cory Smith and fianc Brooke Furrow. She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren, Kyla and Lauryn Adkins, Tanner and "little" Kyla Furrow; sister in law, Deanna Gillentine, and special friend, Joan Lipps. Maxine will be remembered and missed by numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.
A visitation will be held on Monday, April 27th from 10:00am to 12:00pm with a funeral service to follow at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd. Kettering, OH with Pastor James Elliott officiating. A private burial will follow at a later time.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heartland Hospice Care, 580 Lincoln Park Blvd. suite 320 Kettering, OH 45429 or to your favorite animal shelter.
