Melvin Howard Smith

SMITH, Melvin H. Sr., age 66, of Centerville, passed away Friday, March 26, 2004, at Hospice of Dayton. He was a graduate of Centerville High School. Melvin had retired after 20 years as a teamster in the trucking industry. He was preceded in death by his son, Melvin Smith, Jr.; and his brother, Donald Smith. Melvin is survived by his son, Matthew Smith of Cincinnati, OH; brother, Lew Smith of Byesville, OH; sister, Shirley Smart of Leesburg, FL; nephew, Mike Smith of Lebanon, OH; nieces, Lynda Duvall of Lebanon, OH, Gayle Smith of Milford, OH, Melody Hill of FL and Stacy Morrow of SC and Angie Smith of Byesville, OH. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville with Rev. Harvey Smith officiating. Burial in Bellbrook Cemetery.
