Michael Arnold Highley

HIGHLEY, Michael A. ''Mike'', age 50 of Dayton, passed away, Monday, May 13, 2002 at Hospice of Dayton. He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin A. Highley. Mike was a life long resident of Dayton. He was a member of Local 696 U.A.W. and employed at Delphi-Chassis as a machine repairman for 25 years. Mike is survived by his devoted wife, Pam of 32 years; 2 daughters, Cindy and husband, Denzil MCCreary of Kettering and Christy Highley of Dayton; 2 granddaughters, Brittany and Danielle McCreary of Kettering; mother, Elva Forsythe; 1 brother; mother-in-law, Treva Howard; special brother-in-law, David Howard, his partner, Caroline Dameron and niece, Amber, all of Dayton and other relatives; loyal friends Kurt and Tammy Horn and family of Parklayne and Mike Lieurance and neighbors, Gerry and Clifford Tipton. The family would like to express gratitude to employees at Delphi Chassis North and South brake plants for their contributions and support during Mike's illness along with many family, friends and area business's when insurance couldn't cover treatment. Mike will be remembered for his devotion to Pam and his family for his generosity, his unique personality, and the ability to entertain friends and family with music. He will be sadly missed by all. Funeral services will be held Friday, at 1:30 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering with Pastor, Lanny Kelley and Chaplain, Valerie Trisselle officiating.
