Michael James Byrne

BYRNE, Michael J., “Mike” age 62, of Greenville, OH passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at his home. Mike was a 1963 graduate of Chaminade High School and attended the University of Dayton. He retired from IBM after 33 years of service. He loved spoiling his 2 grandchildren, Nicolas and Lucas. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Helen Byrne and 2 brothers Charles Michael and Thomas Patrick. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Rebecca; 3 sons, Michael and Douglas of Troy, Paul (Lisa) of Brookville; 2 grandchildren (Nic and Luc); 3 brothers, Pat (Hedy) of New Bern, NC, Charlie of Batavia and Dan (Sue) Byrne of Springfield; sister, Phyllis Otero of Richmond, KY; father and mother-in-law, Paul and Donna Williams of Greenville; numerous nephews and one niece and his 3 dogs, Maddie, Ally and Zoey. Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday, May 1, 2007 at 10:30A.M. at the Church of Ascension 2025 Woodman Dr. Kettering. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Family will receive friends Monday from 5 to 8 pm at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. In memory of Mike, contributions may be made to the Darke County Animal Shelter, 5066 County Home Rd., Greenville, OH 45331.
