Michael Lawrence Marziale

MARZIALE, Michael L., 54, of Springboro, Ohio, died unexpectedly on October 24, 2011. Mike received his PhD from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1982. He was the founder and CEO of Strategic Analysts, a Dayton based business consulting firm. Over the 28 prior years, he served as an executive and officer of MeadWestvaco and NewPage Corporation. Throughout his life, he contributed generously to the various communities in which he lived. He served on numerous boards, which most recently included the Appalachian Trail Conservancy. He was a devoted family man, who had several hobbies including blacksmithing and reproduction gun building. He was preceded in death by his father, Alfred Marziale. He is survived by his college sweetheart and loving wife of 30 years, Maggie (Moras) Marziale, his sons Michael and Matthew, his mother Joyce, of Jamesville, NY, and his sister, Denise (David) Tily of East Syracuse, NY, and a loving extended family. A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at ROUTSONG FUNERAL HOME, 2100 East Stroop Road, Kettering, Ohio. Family will receive visitors beginning at 1:00pm also at the funeral home.
