Michael V. Newman

NEWMAN, Michael V., age 61 of West Carrollton, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2025. Michael was a 1982 graduate of Fairmont East High School. He received his Associates of Applied Science, Automotive Technology degree in 1987 from Sinclair College. Michael worked for 33 years as a glazier for Kettering Glass. He was a loving husband, father, stepfather and step-grandfather.

Michael was a car and motorcycle enthusiast. He enjoyed taking his Harley Davidson out for a relaxing ride in the countryside. Michael loved spending time with his family, friends and neighbors. He will always be remembered for his exuberant smile. 

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald K. and Martha A. Newman.

Michael is survived by his wife, Tammy Newman; son, Daniel Newman; stepdaughters, Miranda and Amber; step grandsons, Rome, Jude and Finn; brother, Christopher Newman and his wife Susie; sister, Linda Thomas and her husband Randel; brother, Mark Newman; sister, Laura White and her husband Jason.

A visitation with family and friends will be held from 4:00 to 7:00pm on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am on Friday, January 31, 2025, at Ascension Catholic Church, 2025 Woodman Dr., Kettering with final resting place at David's Mausoleum in Kettering. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local food pantry.
