Michael W. Hittle

HITTLE, Michael Walter, aka Harm, aka Uncle Banana, age 52, passed away on Friday, July 23, 2021 at UC Hospital in Cincinnati in the presence of his loving family. He was born October 1, 1968 in Kettering, to Jacquelyn and Ronald Hittle. He is survived by his mother, Jacquie; brother, Matthew and his wife, Danielle; brother, Steven and his wife, Mary Lou; nephews, Dillon, Ethan, Oliver and Ryan; and nieces, Leely and Isabella.

A 1987 graduate of Kettering Fairmont, Mike went on to study recording engineering at the Berklee College of Music. Further study resulted in two additional degrees at the University of Cincinnati where he ran the distance learning center for the UC College of Business. Mike had a passion for music and always sought to bring creative humor into people’s lives, never leaving his acquaintances without a smile on their face. He never accepted the mundane and always sought nonsensical methods to break into people’s hearts.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Church of the Ascension, 2025 Woodman Dr, Kettering, at 10:00 am on August 14th for a funeral mass. The mass will be followed by a reception where we can reminisce, grieve, and share memories of Mike’s special humor.
