Then in 1985, our gracious loving heavenly father blessed Milede and Don with their son, Mark. Milede’s life forever changed, and she was determined to the best mom to Mark. She truly was the best mom, friend, grandma, mother-n-law, daughter and granddaughter to her sweet grandma Edith.
Milede was a member of Solid Rock Church for more than 25 years. She loved her church family and saw countless souls turn to follow Jesus. She served in several ministries: children’s ministry, Hope Over Heroin, Target Ministries, women’s ministry, the prayer team. She loved to pray with others, she continually witnessed the power of prayer changing lives and always rejoiced. Her relationship with Jesus help spread His love. She cherished all conversations and was always turning strangers into friendships. She always spread kindness and did not hesitate to meet and walk alongside others in their most vulnerable times.
She loved Gatlinburg, being outdoors, hiking, reading, gardening, and fellowship with others. Milede LOVED and rescued animals and is survived by her sassy dog Bella. She loved the rodeo, going to concerts, she loved her place at Indian Lake. She loved taking day trips with friends and shopping at antique stores. Milede adored her friends Sue and Larry Darner. She was always amazed at the self-less acts of kindness and love. They were always there for Milede lending a hand in any situation day or night and through the good and difficult times. Milede had so many happy memories and fun times with Sue and Larry. She loved working at Mom’s restaurant in Franklin Ohio alongside her dear best friend, Hilda. She was Milede’s number one fan and loved her so much. Their relationship was a trinket of treasure, a special bond. Milede had so many friends at the restaurant who always prayed for her, reached out and visited her during her cancer journey. Milede had so many wonderful friends and Neighbors who wrapped their love around her during her cancer treatments and helped with so many things to ease Milede’s days. The family wants to recognize all of you ( the list is quite long) who graciously spent time uplifting and loving Milede.
