Monte Dean Schenck

SCHENCK, Monte Dean, age 73, of Oakwood, passed away on Friday, January 10, 2014. Monte was born on July 6, 1940 in Dayton to the late Robert and Erline Schenck. He was a proud graduate of Ohio University where he was a member of Sigma Nu and earned his MBA from University of Dayton. Monte was an automotive engineer and long-time instructor at Sinclair Community College. He was an avid member of Kettering Tennis Center. Monte was survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Cindy; children, DeAnn (Jim) Davies and Chris (Amy) Schenck; grandchildren, Emma, Elly and Evan; brothers, Gary and Dennis Schenck; and many other family members and friends. A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main Street, Centerville. Family will greet friends two hours before the service. Burial will be in David's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Monte's name to the Children's Medical Center, One Children's Plaza, Dayton, OH 45404.
