age 80, of Kettering, passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2004. Monty was a Native American born in Pembroke, NC. He graduated from United Television Laboratories in Louisville, KY. Monty served our country in the Army in WWII. He was employed at DESC for 43 years. Survived by his wife, Helen LeCompte Locklear; daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and William Pyles of Aurora, IN; grandchildren, Matthew, Christopher and Emily Pyles all of Aurora, IN; sisters, Edna Locklear, Magdalene Gore of Pembroke, NC, Pauline Litton of Charlotte, NC and Shelby Jean Patrick of Bolton, NC; brothers, Clyde Locklear of Clinton, NC and Van Locklear of Hayes, VA. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering with Rev. John Parent officiating. Burial at Grove Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville, KY. Family will receive friends from 5-8:00 PM, Thursday at the funeral home.
