(“Butch”), age 61, of Kettering passed away Monday, May 31, 2004 at Spring Creek Nursing Home in Huber Heights. Butch attended Sinclair Community College and worked as an engineer for Ameritech. He was a lifetime member and past commander of VFW Lodge #3283, member of the American Legion and founder of the Crossroads of America Bass Club. Butch served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harley E. and Helen Stobbe. Butch is survived by his wife, Evelyn Kearby (Morris); son, Dean (Tammy) of Dayton; step-daughter, Judy (Charles) Bush of Germantown; step-son, Jim (Vicki) Kirkpatrick of West Chester; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Marsha (David) Rooksbury of Brazil, IN and Marla Zegler of Winslow, IN; grandmother, Minnie K. (age 111) of Petersburg, IN and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 3:30 PM, Saturday at Shiloh Cemetery in Jasper, IN. Family will receive friends Thursday from 5-8:00 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. In memory of Butch contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 40 S.
