Myrtice Mcdaniel

McDANIEL, Myrtice, age 87 of Centerville, OH passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at Sycamore Hospital in Miamisburg, OH. She was born July 5, 1921 in Burning Springs, Clay County, Kentucky to Mattie Lee Clark and William "Billie" McDaniel. She spent most of her adult life in Cincinnati, OH and was employed by Western & Southern Life Insurance Company and was a member of the Old Fashioned Baptist Church of Cincinnati. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother & sister-in-law; Ray (Juanita) McDaniel, nephews Ronald Wayne Cope and Jerrold McDaniel. She leaves behind to treasure her memory her loving sister and brother-in-law Ruth & David Herschel Cope of Centerville, OH who provided exceptional and loving care for her. Myrtice enjoyed caring for animals and Pie-Face, her cat, will be cared for always. She is also survived by her nieces Linda (Jeff) Brock, Gina (Gary) Oelrich, and Barbara (Bill) Schlater, nephews David (Connie) Cope, Doug (Sue) McDaniel, and Mike (Vickie) McDaniel as well as five great-nieces, seven great-nephews and six great-great nieces and nephews, family, neighbors and friends. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Friday, June 26, 2009 at the Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main Street, Centerville, OH. The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until service time at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Woodland Cemetery in Dayton, OH immediately following services.
