CRUSEY, Nancy Lee (Campbell), age 88 of Centerville, Ohio passed away in her home on Monday, October 20, 2014. She was born February 6, 1926, in Evanston, IL to the late Fred and Mary Louise (McRoberts) Campbell.
Nancy graduated from Davenport High School, then studied at The Washington University Art School, The Ohio State University and graduated from The University of Dayton in 1967 with a Bachelor of Science in Education. She worked as a substitute elementary school teacher and a realtor while raising her three children.
She was an active member of the Alpha Phi Sorority and the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR). She loved her bridge groups, traveling, reading, and painting.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Jack L. Crusey Sr. and her sister Mary Ellis Slates. Nancy is survived by her beloved children Jack (Susan) Crusey Jr. of Centerville, OH, Carol (Jim) Crusey Hersma of Tulsa, OK, and Bill (Valorie) Crusey of Libertyville, IL. Nancy had four grandsons Brandon Wilkins, Tyler Crusey, Adam Crusey and Garret Crusey. She is also survived by her brother, Fred McRoberts Campbell (Marilyn) and his family of Columbus, OH.
The family will receive friends at Routsong Funeral Home at 81 N Main St in Centerville, OH on Saturday, Oct. 25 from 2-3 PM.
