Naomi A Brinkman

Brinkman, Naomi A., age 85, of Centerville, Ohio, passed away at Brighton Gardens of Washington Township on June 6, 2016. Naomi was born in Sidney, Ohio on August 8, 1930 to the late Ivan & Alice (Fessler) Apple. She was one of 5 children, and is preceded in death by two of her brothers; Carl and Paul Apple. Naomi is also preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband of 52 years, Raymond H. Brinkman. Naomi worked in various businesses and medical offices as an office administrator while raising her 5 children. She loved to golf, and enjoyed bowling, painting, card clubs and travel. She was an avid gardener and loved being a hostess for social events with family and friends. Naomi is survived by her children (& their spouses): Cynthia (& Tim) Picciano, Dr. James (& Marcia) Brinkman, Steven (& Deb) Brinkman, Barbara Taulbee and David (& Debi) Brinkman. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Gina (& Jake) Stoops, Tony (& Melissa) and Nick (& Amanda) Picciano, Kevyn (& Rachel), Ryan, Kelsey, and Tyler Brinkman, Stephanie Brinkman, Maria and Jackson Taulbee, Megan and Matt Brinkman; Great-grandchildren: Carter, Elliana and Antonio. Naomi is also survived by her sister, Anita Apple, and her brother, Glenn (& Julie) Apple. A Memorial Service will be held at a future date when son Jim is able to return from his active military deployment in Kuwait.
