LONG, Naomi Fox, 95, of Centerville, passed away Sunday, July 15th in Dayton at Vitas Hospice. She was born in Dayton, Ohio on March 21, 1912 to William F. and Mattie Z. Fox. She was a member of the Centerville United Methodist Church and a graduate of Centerville High School, Class of 1931. She was a member of the Ridgeville Homemakers for 40 years and the Senior Fellowship serving as secretary of both clubs for 12 years. She was a member of Ridgeville Community Church for many years prior to returning to Centerville in 1992. She was also a member of Adult Fellowship at Centerville Methodist Church, Senior Inc. at Hithergreen and the Spoilers and Pamperers Grandmothers Club at Centerville. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, William F. Long; son, Edgar N. Long; her parents; her sisters, Lois Fox, Mary Fox and Goldia Long; brothers, Richard, William, and George Fox. She is survived by her daughter, Doris Long Smith of Benbrook, Texas, eight granddaughters, one grandson, 16 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 9:30AM, Saturday, July 21st at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville with Dr. Steven Fewell officiating. Entombment in Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
