Naomi Ruth Schubert

SCHUBERT, Naomi Ruth (Hill), age 78, of Kettering, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2018 after a long struggle with Alzheimers disease. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Delta and Henry Hill, as well as her sister and best friend, Fronya Hill. She lost her life-long love, Ben Schubert to Parkinsons disease in 2008 and missed him every day. Naomi is survived by her son, Todd (Diana) Schubert; daughter, Melissa Spencer; brothers, Fred and Norman Hill; as well as many in her extended family that she felt much affection for. She was a sweet, gentle person who loved God, nature and books and spent much of her time immersed in all three. Naomi will be deeply missed. In keeping with her wishes, there will be a small combined gathering of friends and family for Naomi and Ben from 11:00am-1:00pm on Friday, February 16, 2018 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd. Kettering, OH. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff at Hospice of Dayton for all the wonderful care.
