HALLER, Nedra B., age 80, of Kettering passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2005 at Bethany Lutheran Village. Nedra was a longtime member of the Church of the Ascension. She was a 1942 graduate of Roosevelt High School. After graduation, Nedra worked as a typist in the Purchasing organization at Frigidaire for 15 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, General and Icy Burns, sister, Helen Carlton and brother, Clinton Burns who was killed on the sinking of the ship the “USS Dorchester” while serving in the Army Air Corp during WWII . Nedra is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, George Haller Jr; son, Mark and wife, Sandy Haller of Bellbrook and their children, Caitlin, Zachary and Tori; daughter, Lisa and husband Mike Stabler of Ft. Worth, TX and their children, Karen and Chloe; sister-in-law, Evelyn Haller of Centerville; brother-in-law, Paul England of Dayton; and numerous nieces and nephews whom Nedra greatly loved. She enjoyed a special relationship with her niece, Barbara Reed, who was like a second daughter to her. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM, Monday, May 16, 2005 at Church of the Ascension, 2025 Woodman Dr., Kettering, with Father Chris Worland officiating. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Family will receive friends Sunday from 2- 5:00 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. Condolences may be sent to the family via the website at www.routsong.com.
