Nicholas Reyes

REYES, Nicholas “Fez”, age 40, of Miamisburg, passed away peacefully at Hospice of Dayton on May 26, 2019. He was born in San Antonio, TX, leaving in 1997 to follow his true love, Betsy Deeter, to Cincinnati where he attended the University of Cincinnati, graduating with a degree in Accounting. Nick and Betsy were married in 2002, and after several moves while Betsy served as an active duty Army nurse, they settled in Miamisburg with their growing family. Nick had two great loves.

He was a loving father and husband and counted his family as his greatest blessing. Nick also loved professional football; he was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles. He knew no strangers and had many close friends for whom he would do almost anything.

Nick was preceded in death by his father, David Reyes. He is survived by his wife Betsy Reyes; daughters, Theresa (15), Sophia (14), and Elena (12); mother, Elizabeth Reyes; sister, Tirzah Basaldua; brothers, David and Mark (Shannon); parents-in-law, Dr. David and Karen Deeter; and many beloved nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 4pm on Friday, May 31, 2019 at Routsong funeral home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. Family will greet friends following the service with reception.
