Nina Jean Woods

WOODS, Nina Jean, age 76, passed away at her home in Oakwood, Tuesday, July 19, 2005. She was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Thompson and her brother, James Carroll. Nina is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Charles L.; daughters, Christine (Tim) Taylor, and Jennifer (Ken) Samoly, both of Chagrin Falls, Ohio; and son, James (Peggy), of Fairfield, Ohio; 8 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Nina had been very active in the Dayton community. She had been on the board of directors of the Friends of Aullwood and the board of directors of the Dayton Opera Guild. She had been involved in the Oakwood Sister City Program and had been a volunteer at the Dayton Art Institute for many years. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her. Services and visiting at 1:30 pm Friday at the Routsong Funeral Home, 6 Oakwood Ave, Father Joseph Goetz officiating, with committal at Woodland Mausoleum at 2:30 pm.
