KRONOUR, Norma Jean Jeannie, age 89, of Kettering, Ohio passed away on Friday, September 22, 2017. Born on February 1, 1928 to Warren and Ruby (Moulton) Wyant in Dayton, Ohio, she was married to Chuck Kronour for 58 years. A graduate from Patterson Co-Op in 1944, Jeannie moved to New York City and became a model when Chuck went to France in World War II. After the war Jeannie volunteered for over 40 years at the Dayton State Hospital. Jeannie was very passionate about helping people with mental illness. She also loved being with her family and friends. Jeannie loved dancing with her husband to the big band music of the 1940s and 1950s. She was an avid card player and loved playing with her friends and family. Preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Jeannie is survived by her sons, Randy (Dianne) Kronour of Lebanon and Scott (Patti) Kronour of Liberty Township, seven grandchildren, Parker (Lindsay) Kronour, Sarah (David) Madison, David (Lindsey) Kronour, John (Ivette) Kronour, Ryan, Leigh Ann and Kyle Kronour, and five great-grandchildren, Rylee, Bryson, Bryant, Seth and Nash. A private service will be held at Routsong Funeral Home in Centerville. Donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
