WISSINGER, Norman R., age 88, of Centerville, passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2015. Norman was born to the late Ralph D. and Helen C. Wissinger on August 17, 1927 in Springfield, OH. He graduated from Springfield South High School in 1945, attended Berea College in KY, received his B.S. in Engineering and Law from Purdue University in 1948 and in 1951 he received his J.D. from Indiana University. Norman was a defense attorney for environmental issues and was the corporate vice president for ten years at "Carpet Talk". He enjoyed traveling, spending time with friends and family, and playing piano at events and nursing homes with the band, "Deminimis Cats". Norman was a deacon of Fairmont Presbyterian Church. He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Amy Averett. He is survived by son, Sherman Wissinger, daughter Julie (Tom Higgins) Wissinger, and his special grandsons, Michael Shope and Ryan Shope.
