Novelle Koch

Koch, Novelle “Vel” was born in Seymour, Texas on April 22, 1940. She retired from Kroger as a bakery manager. Vel loved to bake wedding cakes and cakes for the family. She also loved fishing, going to the casino as well as garage sales, church and taking walks. Vel enjoyed spending her days with her beloved dog, Ginger and was a member of the Blessed Hope Baptist Church in Kettering, Ohio.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Henson, sister Kitty and her beloved partner and husband since 1984, Keith Koch. Vel is survived by her children, Curtis MacDonald (Teresa), Tammie Bruntz (Craig), Bobby MacDonald and Gale Jones. She had 13 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. The last 2 years she had spent a lot of time with her dear friend, Christine Spencer, enjoying all the things she loved to do.

A visitation will be held Friday, March 21, 2025, from 10:00am-11:00am, at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Road, Kettering, Ohio 45429 with a Funeral Service starting at 11:00am. Final resting place will be at Beavertown Cemetery in Kettering, Ohio.
