Okey Robert Carpenter

CARPENTER, O. Robert, “Bob” age 82, of Kettering passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2006 at Hospice of Dayton. Bob was a member of the Squares-A-Go-Go and Day’n 8’s Square Dancing Club. He also was a volunteer for the City of Kettering. Bob retired from GM-Frigidaire after 38 years. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Keitha Carpenter. Bob is survived by his sons, Dave (Bonnie) Carpenter of Bellbrook, and Gary (Patricia) Carpenter of Biloxi, MI; daughter, Sharon Carpenter and her husband, Chuck Zoller of Springfield; grandchildren, Laura, Mark, and Gray Carpenter, and Neil Copas; step-grandchildren, Lindsey, Heather, and David. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, February 4, 2006, at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. Inurnment at Dayton Memorial Park immediately following services. Bob’s family will receive friends Friday from 4-7:00 PM at the funeral home.
