MULLINS, Opal, age 84, of Kettering, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2009 at Hospice of Dayton. Opal retired from Delco Products and attended Faith Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her parents, Jake Jones and Bertha Jones Walden, her sister Ruth Woolum, and brothers Marion Jones, Dexter Jones, Richard Jones and Fred Jones. Opal is survived by her loving husband of over 64 years, Ernest A. Mullins; daughter Peggy (Paul) Baker of FL; son Dennis (Nancy) Mullins of SC; grandchildren: Betsy Kate Mullins, Amanda Mullins, Nicholas Mullins, Paula (Doug) Baker Deaton, Paul (Crystal) Monroe Baker; great-grandchildren: Kali Smart, Isabella Smart, Allie Taylor Deaton; brothers Shird Jones of Michigan and Bob Jones of Texas; sisters-in-law, many nieces and nephews, including Bobbye Manning and Burma Rai and many close friends. Funeral Service will be held at David's Mausoleum on Wednesday March 18, 2009 at 11am with Pastor Gary Favor officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420. Condolences and other remembrances may be sent to the family at www.routsong.com.
