MARKS, Pamela Anne, age 48, of Richmond, IN passed away on September 9, 2013 at Hospice of Dayton. Pam was born in Berea, Ohio, moving with her family to Dayton at an early age.
She was a lifelong learner, having acquired a B. S. in Business Administration and an M. A. in Technical and Scientific Writing from Miami University, and an M. S. in Applied Statistics from Bowling Green State University, following these with study toward a Master's Degree in Gerontology.
Her working career included employment with the Weyerhauser Company, the Procter and Gamble Company, Stat King Consulting, and various departments at Miami. During two years of residence in Richmond, she served as a volunteer for the local Area 9 Agency.
Pam is survived by her husband of 21 years, Neil B. Marks, her father, Laurence M. Marsh, brothers, Edward (Roxanne) and Glenn (Bory), paternal aunt, Susanne Getter, maternal aunt and uncle, Bette and Fred Snyder, two nieces and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Ellen Marsh.
The family wishes to recognize the excellent care provided by Kettering Medical Center and Hospice of Dayton.
Cremation has occurred with ashes to be distributed at Mohican State Park.
