Pamela "Pam" Truitt

TRUITT, Pamela “Pam”, age 79, of Centerville, OH, formerly of Dallas, TX, passed away Saturday, February 10, 2024. 

Pam was born April 11, 1944 to Lloyd Farmer and Beverly (Vincent) Kuziak. She met the love of her life, Bruce Truitt, and together they shared 49 years of wedded bliss. Pam brought beauty to all she touched, from the way she decorated her house for holidays, to table settings for events at St. Leonard’s, to arranging beautiful bouquets of flowers. Everything she arranged, she did so with grace. From a young age, Pam was a gifted artist, creating breathtaking drawings and paintings. 

She dabbled in a little bit of everything professionally, from real estate to admin work at a retirement home. During her time at Lexis Nexis, she traveled to South Africa, South America, and the Middle East. Pam was devoted to her faith. She was a member of Church of the Ascension at St. Leonard’s, and even met the Pope, only pretending to kiss his ring for fear of leaving any lipstick behind. Pam had a servant’s heart, volunteering over 500 hours at Kettering Medical Center. One of her most sacred memories was traveling to Israel with her church. She lived a life full of beauty and faith and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. 

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Bruce; her son, Todd; her granddaughters, Emily and Ashley; her brother, Larry Farmer; and her son-in-law, Tim Staley. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Lisa (Paul) Hohlbein and Michele Staley; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. 

Family will greet friends to celebrate Pam’s life on Thursday, February 15 from 5:00pm-8:00pm at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville.
