In Loving Memory of Patrice Jean Michel
Patrice Jean Michel, affectionately known as "Pat," peacefully passed away on February 7, 2024, at the age of 71. Born on June 29, 1952, in Carnegie, PA, Pat was the beloved daughter of James Francis and Claire E. (Harney) Carr. She grew up in Carnegie and graduated from Carnegie High School in 1970.
Pat pursued her education at the University of Pittsburgh and California University in Pittsburgh, PA. With a passion for helping people navigate the world of real estate, Pat dedicated more than two decades of her life as a successful Real Estate agent and later a Broker for Remax Supreme in Phillipsburg, NJ.
Pat's commitment to service extended far beyond her professional career. She volunteered her time with Meals on Wheels, bringing nourishment and joy to those in need. Pat made it a priority to be heavily involved in her sons' lives, creating lasting memories and providing unwavering love and support. She was a proud member of St. Phillip and St. James Catholic Church, where her sons also attended elementary school.
Preceding her in death was her beloved husband, Richard J. "Dick" Michel in 2018, along with her sisters, Maureen King in 1993 and Elizabeth Liszka in 2013. Pat is survived by her devoted sons, Bryan Michel (Karla) of Dayton, OH, Christopher Michel of Phillipsburg, NJ, and Jim Michel of Easton, PA. She will forever be remembered and cherished by her adoring grandchildren, Mathias, Keagan, Jake, and Josie. Pat is also survived by her brother, James Carr (Diane) of Pittsburgh, PA, sister Kathy Kerchansky (Ted) of Scottsdale, AZ, and brother-in-law, Bob King (Washington, PA).
The arrangements are being lovingly handled by Routsong Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 2nd at 11:00am at St Phillip & St James Catholic Church located at 430 S Main St, Phillipsburg, NJ. A reception for family and friends will be held following the service.
Patrice Jean Michel will forever be remembered as a compassionate, loving, and selfless woman. Her spirit will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in eternal peace.
