Patricia Ann Hageman

HAGEMAN, Patricia, age 81, of Dayton, passed away Sunday, February 20, 2017. Patricia was born on August 12, 1935 in Dayton, OH to parents Menford Hattery and Ollie Bianca Gaines. Patricia graduated from Fairmont high school in 1953, and attended Wright State University. She worked as a receptionist and enjoyed volunteering at Kettering Hospital. As a member of Hope United Methodist Church Patricia served on numerous committees, volunteered in the church office, and sang proudly in the choir. She was a member and small group leader for United Methodist Women. For the last sixteen years, Patricia has been an active member at Fairhaven Church. She sang in the choir and enjoyed her many friends at Fairhaven. Patricia was also an active member of The Greater Dayton Emmaus Community. She was preceded in death by her parents Menford Hattery and Ollie Bianca Gaines, her loving husband of almost 50 years, Richard E. Hageman, and sister, Barbara J. Hattery. She is survived by her brother, John (Flo) Hattery, daughters; Barbara (Greg) Bell, Janice Sauter, son; Bob (Nancy) Hageman, grandchildren; Matt Bell, Ami Robinson Bell, Jenna Sauter, Theresa Sauter, Rachel Hageman, Ryan Hageman, and great-grandchild, Mia Robinson. The family will receive friends and family from 5:00-7:00pm on Friday, February 24, 2017 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 East Stroop Rd., Kettering. Services will be held at 9:00am, Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Fairhaven Church, 637 E. Whipp Rd., Centerville. Special thanks to Hospice of Dayton and Senior Helpers Home Care Agency.
