Patricia Ann Hyrne

HYRNE, Patricia Ann "Pat", age 60, of Kettering graduated to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at home on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at 12:30pm. She was born in Akron, Ohio on March 4, 1951, raised by her parents Elizabeth "Betty" Strouse and Lloyd E. Strouse and born again in the Blood of Jesus Christ in 1960 at the Akron Baptist Temple. Pat grew up with a love of music and she served as Church Pianist for several churches over the years including Chadds Ford Baptist Church and Bible Baptist Church, both in Pennsylvania, Faith Baptist Church in Ohio, Fostoria Baptist Church in Bowling Green, Ohio, and Fremont Baptist Church in Fremont, Ohio. Not only was she a faithful servant of God, but also a talented Administrative Assistant at Booz Allen & Hamilton in Kettering, Ohio. Pat's greatest love on earth was her children and grandchild. Preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Strouse; and grandparents, Jack and Zilpha Walker. She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Charles O. Hyrne; children, Kimberly Ruth Hyrne, Joseph Curtis (Stephanie) Hyrne, and Benjamin Charles (Emory) Hyrne; beloved grandchild, 5 year old Conner Joseph Hyrne; father, Rev. Lloyd Edwin Strouse; uncle, Bill Walker; best friend, Doris Roberts; and many special friends and family members. The family would like to send a special thank you to the all staff at Miami Valley Hospital South. The family will greet friends from 5:00-7:00pm on Monday, December 5, 2011 at ROUTSONG FUNERAL HOME, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering with a funeral service following at 7:00pm also at the funeral home.
